SC Natural Heritage Program GIS Intern

GIS Internship at SCDNR: The South Carolina Natural Heritage Program (SCNHP) is seeking a motivated undergrad or graduate student to assist in managing South Carolina’s primary database for rare, threatened, and endangered species. Based in person at the SCDNR headquarters in West Columbia, this role offers a flexible 15-20-hour work week at $14/hour. Start and end dates for the program are also flexible. As a member of the NatureServe Network, you will help SCDNR contribute to a large conservation group spanning 60 programs across North America. Interns will gain hands on experience with industry-standard tools, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Enterprise. Projects will include species distribution modeling, creating interactive web applications via Experience Builder, Dashboards, Survey123 and Field Maps, and data management.
